Simple Theology
For far too long, the Church has suffered from Primary Divisions over Secondary Issues. These divisions have created denominations- which segregate God's Church into lame little camps.

Look...there are some things that Matter, and a whole lot of things that just don't- in the grand scheme of following Christ. ALtR believes in creating a Church in America that is as open-armed as possible;while still holding firmly to the reality of God as He has revealed Himself to humanity. No Compromise....but also no self-righteous adherence to rules and theologies that just don't matter in the end.

We have boiled it down to 3 theological tenets that define us as Christians...
Jesus is the ONLY Way
We believe that Jesus was telling the Truth when He said, "I Am the Way, The Truth, and the Life. No one can make it to the Father except through ME."

Not Jesus plus religion;Not Jesus plus living a moral life;not Jesus plus anything. Faith in Jesus Christ- and Jesus Christ alone- Changes a person's eternal destiny.
The Bible is the Inerrant and Unchanging Word of God
We believe that The Bible is the revealed Word of God to mankind. It is a direct communication from the mind of our Creator to the hearts of His creation, communicated through the Holy Spirit working through His Chosen people.

While hermeneutical relevance is a logical consideration in the study of any Scripture, the overarching character of God is unchanging and without error.
God has revealed Himself in Three "Persons"
the entirety of God is more than our finite minds can grasp. But what we DO know from His revealed Word and plain common sense is that God functions in 3 unique "Persons"...Father (Creator), Son (God's Spirit made flesh), and Holy Spirit (God's will made manifest and active).
